Party time!

We are thankful to be part of a small group of "young adults" (defined loosely) through our church. Saturday evening we had our annual Christmas get-together - an appetizer supper and grab bag gift exchange.

Nuns Having Fun

Image
For three of my four college years I lived in the mods (four double and one single room that shared a bathroom and living room) with - more or less - the same group of girls. When we first started talking about living together, somehow we christened ourselves "The Nunnery." I think it had something to do with the fact that we wanted to live in mod 2B, and there's that great "to be or not to be" Hamlet quote... and that play also includes the line "Get thee to a Nunnery!" There weren't more than a handful of quiet moments the whole drive. After checking into our hotel, we headed to Zona Rosa for some shopping and eating.  I am a library nerd. I want these. (But I stayed true to my clutter-free pledge and didn't even look at the price!) Yogurtini - NOT as good as Orange Leaf. I had so much fun hanging out with these girls. Well, women. :) I love them dearly and am so privileged to have such amazing coworkers. I can't even tell you how awesome they are. Maybe some day I'll try. It was great to get a chance to spend time with them outside of the school...
