The zoo, zoo, zoo!

Image
We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo. How about you, you, you? You can come too, too, too. We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo! Today we went to the Emporia Zoo. The price (free) was right for Lincoln's first zoo trip, and it was actually a really nice place. I'd never been there, but Brad's grandpa used to bring him (along with his sister and cousins) when he was little. Mr. Stubbornly Independent wanted to walk all over the zoo on his own! He ended up with quite the scraped knee and a bump on the head because of it, but he was determined!   I think the emus were Lincoln's favorite!

He has learned how to back up to the chair and sit down instead of trying to climb in, which means we can sit and watch him do it instead of trying to make sure he doesn't end up with a fat lip or broken tooth. Lincoln loves to be ou...

Easter at Grammy's

Image
Yesterday we went to Grammy and Grampy Kohlman's for a little family "Easter" since we weren't going to make it today. Lincoln had fun hunting eggs... for about the first five. Then he was done. He also had a great time pushing Uncle Justin off the ball and chasing the kitties.
