The Kohlmans

We didn't take quite as much time on the drive home as on the drive to Colorado. After stopping at the Dinosaur Resource Center, we made a quick trip to Garden of the Gods. By the time we got there, Lincoln was fast asleep, so Brad and I hopped out of the car for a quick walk while Lincoln snoozed with Grandma and Papa. Since we didn't start super early, we planned to spend the night in Sharon Springs, KS, at a bed and breakfast. It is in a converted church. Grandpa Melvin spent the night here several times when he came out to Western KS to check on his land; it's only a few miles away. The rooms were beautiful and the breakfast was awesome! The last day of our trip, we headed home with just a quick stop at the Cathedral of the Plains in Victoria.

On our way out of Colorado, we stopped at the Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center. Lincoln absolutely loved it. This is a place that makes dinosaur skeleton replicas for museums all over the world. Many of their dinosaurs come from Kansas!
